Documentary Theatre Workshop
led by André Amálio
Documentary Theater Workshop with André Amálio
In this workshop, documentary theatre will be approached from a multidisciplinary perspective, exercising the company’s creative disciplines, such as theatre and movement.
With this laboratory, Hotel Europa continues to push the boundaries of what documentary theatre can be, as well as disseminating the knowledge gained by its artistic direction to other professionals and non-professionals interested in this field of artistic creation. This is an open-level introductory workshop to documentary theatre that explores the language that André Amálio and Tereza Havlíčková have been developing in recent years, in a workshop setting that blends theatre, movement, devising, improvisation, autobiography, and family histories.
