This workshop will explore documentary theatre from a multidisciplinary perspective, putting into practice the company’s creative disciplines, such as theatre and movement. Through this workshop, Hotel Europa continues to push the boundaries of what documentary theatre can be, whilst sharing the knowledge gained by its artistic direction with other professionals and non-professionals interested in this field of artistic creation. This is an open-level introductory workshop to documentary theatre that explores the language that André Amálio and Tereza Havlícková have been developing in recent years in a studio that combines theatre, movement, devising, improvisation, autobiography and family histories.
